| The Hellas Soccer Club of Winnipeg were the Champions of the 2nd Annual Hellenic Tournament in Chicago, USA. Their toughest match was vs. the York Region Hellenics of Thornhill, Ontario in the semi final match where Hellas won in penalty kicks. Hellas's leading scorer was Justin Castalanos with 5 goals. Goalie Karl Martens was a key factor in the entire tournament. Congratulations to John Kosmas for organizing a wonderful tournament that brought many Greek Communities together from all over North America. The Tournament Victory is Dedicated to the late John Scouras. He will be greatly missed. |
